About Scarlett Johnston

Scarlett Johnston grew up in a small town in South Mississippi.  She spent many summers in the country with her grandparents shelling peas, shucking corn and singing in the church choir. From a very early age, the quiet beauty of countryside settings and wildflowers blooming in woodland landscapes captured her imagination. Scarlett’s love for the arts was generationally influenced. Her father is a writer and artist. Her mother, a singer and musician.

Scarlett’s artistic expression is derived from her travel, life experiences and love of creation. She finds great joy in painting, gardening, cooking, singing and being a mom.

Scarlett graduated from Mississippi College with a B.S. in Nursing and is a Registered Nurse. An active wife and mother of two sons, Scarlett resides in Madison, Mississippi, where she serves her church and community.
